How billing works
Clear, hourly, capped.
Hourly
Each server is billed for the hours it exists. Delete a test server after an afternoon and pay for an afternoon.
Capped
A server that runs all month never costs more than its monthly price.
Monthly invoice
Your card is charged once a month for the hours used. Upgrading a server changes its rate from the next hour.
Example
A 2 GB Standard server that runs for 10 days costs 240 h × $0.0266 = $6.38. Left running all month, it stops at $19.
No add-ons
Things others charge extra for are included.
Many hosts sell caching, staging or extra backups per site. On Netkeel they come with every server, for every website on it.

Pricing questions
Good to know.
Which server size should I start with?
For one to a few small sites, the 2 GB Standard server is a good start. Choose 4 GB or more for online shops, busy sites or many sites. You can upgrade later.
What is the difference between the families?
Standard uses shared vCPUs and SSD storage and is the best value. High frequency and High performance use faster CPUs and NVMe storage. General purpose, CPU optimized and Memory optimized give you dedicated vCPUs with NVMe storage: balanced, extra CPU, or extra memory.
Do I pay while a server is switched off?
Yes. A server is billed for as long as it exists, because its resources stay reserved for you. Delete it to stop billing.
Are backups stored off the server?
Backups are kept on the server by default. Connect your own S3, Backblaze B2, Wasabi or Cloudflare R2 bucket to keep encrypted copies off-site; you pay your storage provider directly.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Ask within 30 days of creating your account and we refund what you paid.
Which currency do you charge in?
Prices are in US dollars. The panel shows the exact price of a server before you create it.
